Skate Berlin Adults will take place from March 1st – March 3rd 2019!
Our competition announcement will be published at the latest by the end of November 2018 (after the announcement for Oberstdorf comes out).
Since 2014, Skate Berlin Adults has been open to international participants. The competition will follow ISU regulations for adult competitions, with some small changes, such as the addition of the category Steel in Figure Skating and Ice Dance.
skate ‘n smile – die show
Saturday, March 2nd, 2019, 8 pm, Erika-Heß-Eisstadion – Wedding
As the organizer of the show, the figure skating division of the Berliner TSC e.V. wants to show how rich and creative adult recreational figure skating can be.
In the show everything is allowed: same sex pairs, freestyle, groups, props and anything that your fantasy suggests. In addition, on the first day there will be a ‘battle’ among the artistic programs for the chance to participate in the show.
The event will again take place in the heart of Berlin in the district Mitte.
The Erika-Heß-Eisstadion is at Müllerstraße 185 near the U-Bahn Station Reinickendorfer Straße (on the U6), or also within walking distance of the S-Bahn Station Wedding (lines S41 and S42), where you can also connect to the U6. From main station/Hauptbahnhof you can take Bus 120 (with a short distance ticket–Kurzstreckenfahrschein) to U-Bahnhof Reinickendorfer Straße. There are a limited number of free parking spaces at the ice rink.
If you come by car to the ice rink, you need the green Umweltplakette for Berlin’s city center. These can be purchased in advance online. For those of you who aren’t able to do this, you can easily park in the neighbouring Fennstraße, which is not part of the Umweltzone.
How do I find the way to the Erika-Heß-Eisstadion with public transportation?
